SINO MINERALS INVESTMENTS COMPANY LIMITED, established in 2010, adheres to the principle of "Green Mining, Responsibility First" and engages in legal and compliant mining investment and development in Uganda.
The company's project of extracting and processing 300,000 tons of iron ore annually in the KABALE region in the west is currently one of the largest mining development projects in Uganda, making a significant contribution to the development of Uganda's steel industry.
Our motto is "Giving Back to Society, Achieving Win-Win Cooperation," and to this end, the company has implemented the following initiatives:
1. Signed a Memorandum of Understanding with local governments to fund the renovation of community and public roads; fully sponsor two local university students every year.
2. Established a "Coordination Committee" with relevant departments and personnel in the mining area to communicate regularly and promptly, listen to suggestions and requests, and maintain good community relations.
3. Organizes a free medical clinic in the community annually.
4. Laid water supply pipelines to solve the drinking water needs of local residents.
5. Installed solar-powered street lights to provide nighttime lighting for communities, schools, churches, and some public roads.
6. Fully sponsors the education of four university students every year.
7. Donated medical equipment and medicines to local healthcare institutions multiple times.
8. Provides monthly living allowances to elderly people over 70 years old and some disabled individuals in four villages surrounding the mining area.
9. Other social welfare activities such as temporary relief efforts.
